About

Project Dissonance is a Senior Studio project worked on by students from Savannah College of Art and Design. We are a team of 7 currently fulfilling roles that make this game be able to play and actually be visually appealing to the audience. What is this game about, you may ask? It is a 2.5D side-scrolling puzzle platformer that combines elements of horror, stealth, and psychologically inspired narrative. It is a single player game played on the Windows PC. Gameplay is viewed in a side facing perspective that overlooks a landscape inspired by the condition of the character's mental state. You play as a character who comes from a race called Ozark. Ozarks are the building blocks of the human memory and are the workers that help construct the memories of the human that they are inside of. The objective of the game is to restore light to the memories by lighting crystal shards that cleanses the bad memories.
